Welcome back to Parental Geekery! Our big event this week has been Catherine’s fifth birthday, although it takes a little while for us to get around to telling you about that. We meander through a rant about gender-specific colours and the world shortage of Helium before we really get going.
We compare the accuracy of the voice detection systems between the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the iPhone 5, and we talk some more about how well Google is doing at tracking John’s movements.
Finally we talk about Catherine’s birthday and all her new bedroom furniture.
John is doing Movember this year, which Ruth is convinced will freak her and the kids out. He’s looking for other men to join in – are you (or your partner, as appropriate) up for the challenge?
We’ve added new ways to listen to the show – you can now find us on the Zune marketplace and on Stitcher Radio.
